Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that all the digital rewards are available to download! You should have received email(s) from Backerkit today with the download link(s), but let me know if you haven't received anything. (Check your Junk folder first.) If you pledged for a digital reward and did not complete a survey from Backerkit, then you need to let me know and I'll have to send you the download link(s) directly.
I also wanted to let you know that I've sent everything to the printer. I should receive all the printed rewards within a month and then I'll try and get everything packed up and shipped out by the end of August.
Now that this campaign is wrapping up, I'd like to tell you about my next one. I've completed the artwork for the next issue of Deborah Daring and it looks AWESOME! Check out this sample.
I'm planning to launch this campaign on Kickstarter in September. Stay tuned for more updates soon!

Hi Everyone,
Hope you've all been able to get out and enjoy the beginning of Summer. I sure did! I took the last week off and was able to soak up some sun. It's been a long Spring with the COVID pandemic and it was really great to reconnect with friends and family.
The Pre-Order campaign on Backerkit was a great success! All the orders have been locked and I just charged the credit cards tonight. All addresses will be locked by June 28th, so if you still haven't provided one or need to change it, please do so ASAP! I plan to send all files to the printer by July 6th, so we should be on track to ship everything out in August. Once the files are sent to the printer, I will make the digital rewards available for download. Design of the Art Book is almost finished and it's looking Awesome! Take a look at a sample below.
In addition to showcasing some fabulous full-page color illustrations by our tremendously talented contributing artists, The Art of Hildebrand will provide an in-depth look at the artists, revealing how they developed their work and highlighting some of their insight into the book. I can't wait to see this bad boy in print!

Hildebrand PDF Almost Ready To Go!

Great News! The lettering for Hildebrand Valkyrie Volume 1 is complete! I hired Joel Rodriguez to do the lettering for this graphic novella and he has definitely elevated the caliber of the book. Check out these samples.
I still need a week or two to finalize some of the other pages in the book, including a really cool map of 9th Century Europe. The Art book is also coming along nicely. Check out this great new pinups from Natalia Nesterenko.
Please be aware that I will be locking the existing orders on Backerkit in the next 48 hrs, so if the Art Book wasn't part of your pledge package, you have two more days to select it as an add-on in the Backerkit Survey Pre-Order store!

Backerkit Surveys Going Out This Weekend!

Hi Everyone,
At long last the Backerkit Surveys are ready and they will be sent out this weekend! The graphic novella and the rest of the rewards are progressing nicely and are on track to be sent to the printer by early June. Speaking of which, I'm really pleased with how the Art Book is shaping up. It's been a wonderful experience working with so many talented artists on this campaign and it's been my pleasure to compile all their fantastic work into a consolidated art book. Not only will you get to see their amazing illustrations printed in a premium quality art book, you'll get to read their personal profiles along with their insights about working on this project. And for those of you that love to see the artistic process of how a color illustration develops, this will be a real treat! The Art of Hildebrand Valkyrie will be available in print and as a PDF download. If you didn't pledge for it in the Kickstarter campaign, make sure to select it from the Add-ons section in your Backerkit survey being sent out this weekend. Stay tuned for more updates coming soon!

Hi Everyone,
I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. It's been a crazy month with all the Covid-19 mayhem and it is looking like the delivery timeline will need to be extended. On the bright side, the graphic novella is progressing nicely. I finished a fully lettered draft yesterday and will be getting that edited over the next week or so. I'm having difficulty reaching the printer I normally use, so I do not have a specific date for when all the books can be shipped to the printer. I appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter, and will do my best to keep you updated regularly.
